SPRING BREAK CAMP PRODUCTIONS

ALADDIN: Grades 1-5

In a far off land a Magician seeks the magic lamp from the Cave of Wonders.  Only Aladdin and his side-kick cat Persia can pass through its doors. From the wondrous lamp the Genie appears granting Aladdin three wishes and a ride upon a magic carpet, flying off to a world of adventure. No experience necessary, everyone gets a part! This camp ends in a combined performance with the Spring Break Cabaret.

When: March 9-13 9:00am-4:00pm

Where: Oltman Middle School

Performances: Friday March 13th at 6:00pm and Saturday March 14th at 1:00pm

Cost: $250

CABARET: Grades 6-12

Come sing, dance, and act your break away with Locally Grown Theatre. Learn the skills needed to become a triple threat while performing pieces from some of your favorite musicals! This camp ends in a combined performance with the elementary’s Aladdin.

SATURDAY CLASSES

Unlock the storytelling magic of music as your creative tool. Dive into the rhythmic tapestry and melodic realms, using the power of music to craft vibrant worlds and narratives.

Grades: PK-1 When: April 11th – May 9th, 9:00-10:30am

What makes a hero? What defines a villain? Unleash your acting skills and draw inspiration from your favorite heroes, villains, and sidekicks to craft an original story. Whether you’re channeling Wonder Woman, Jack-Jack, a Powerpuff Girl, or a Ninja Turtle, there’s a place for you here! Dive into a world of adventure, creativity, and imagination. What’s your superpower? Join us and find out!

Grades: 2-5 When: April 11th – May 9th , 9:00-10:30am

Step into the spotlight and explore the golden age of American variety entertainment! This class dives into the vibrant world of vaudeville, where acting, music, dance, magic, and eccentric acts collide in a whirlwind of spectacle and charm. This is a hands-on camp where everyone gets to be creative, take risks, and cheer each other on. Together, students will build a one-of-a-kind variety show to share with friends and family on the last day.

Grades: 6-12 When: April 11th-May 9th, 10:45am-12:15pm
